One week to go

Well time has certainly caught up with me and Lucy and our trip is almost about to start as from next Monday, so what have we been up too?
The biggest thing was making sure we had the right gear to record everything as professionally as possible so we have acquired 2 go pro hero 10s and a Panasonic Lumix FZ 2000 so we can get as clear footage as possible we have added lights and some radio microphones to this so the audio should be spread over 4 channels of sound: 2 vocals, ambient and you never know any evps we might capture.
Kit wise this is going to be old school just us no gadgets Lucy has her extra sense and I will be trying to record and hopefully pick up any anomalies that occur. History wise we are lucky to have on board some special guests who will be giving me the history of the locations away from Lucy she doesn't want to know anything before we start our investigations
With our kit we are still awaiting for a couple of last minute items from Amazon, mainly for Annabelle, as we are going to be off grid for a fair bit of the road trip we needed to make sure we had 240 volts of electric for camera charging laptop charging and running the 16gig hard drive to back up all our footage. The main reason tho is Lucy does like scrambled eggs for breakfast so we need the microwave working for 2 minutes every morning to make sure we can get them cooked as it's the only way I know how to cook them! The last battery connectors for the inverter should now arrive tomorrow giving me Wednesday night to fix it to the leisure battery hopefully without blowing any fuses.
Clothes wise we need to map out a few launderettes along the route as we can't fit enough clothes and gear in the van for a trip of this length. Lucy has already commandeered the wardrobe for her gear as it needs to hang so my t shirts are assigned to boxes in the back storage area.

Hopefully you will have noticed I've added a map to the website which plots a few of our key starting areas which should take about 2 weeks of the tour to complete. We will be planning and organising other locations during our travels as with a trip this big it's impossible to say where we will be exactly at any one time as we are travelling during the summer holidays traffic could be an issue so we may do some of our driving through the night to avoid major hold ups.
Lucy has been brilliant in keeping up our face book page and thank you everyone for your support we do hope to see a lot of you lovely people on our trip so we will do our best to update the map on our way round. If that's not possible we will tell you via the facebook page as we go along anyway so please come and say hello we want to get as many pics of you all with Annabelle as possible.
I travel back up to Yorkshire this weekend in Annabelle for our final planning session and hopefully a Facebook live before we hit the road.
See you all very soon.
